Job Title: Equipment Start Up Technician
Qualifications:
- Must process Journeyman Refrigerator/ HVAC
- Class A Gas fitter license an asset
- Valid MOPIA Certification
- Valid Manitoba Drivers License
- Be able to pass clearance checks and criminal record check
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the Team and Clients both verbally and written
Job Duties:
- Conduct equipment start ups upon completion of construction project
- Fill out required paperwork and report to Project Manager

Job Title: Gas Fitter – Journeypersons and Apprentices
Job description:

Job Overview:
This is a trade position that requires in-depth comprehensive knowledge about mechanical construction in a commercial setting. Required to have a Red Seal Journeyperson status, the Gas Fitter has key responsibilities for the success of startups and needs to ensure all relevant relationships within the company, project managers, and external contacts are maintained. The success of these relationships has a strong influence in the success of this role.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Register all hydronic systems with ITSM
- Reapply for Quality Assurance certificate every three years
- Ensure all Q/A documents of all hydronic systems are in place (system capacities, CRN numbers, make, model, etc.)
- Pull all necessary permits that require an A or B gas fitter for each applicable project
- Size gas piping for projects to completion with accuracy
- Coordinate OFC hydro and manufacturers at the time of inspection to turn on for start-ups (400,00 + BTU’s)
- Inspect all pipe joints and gas burners to ensure correct installation
- Follow all safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Red Seal Gas Fitter ‘A’ or ‘B’ trade certification
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical construction
- Comfortable working in tight spaces
- Valid drivers license
- Provincial Gas Fitter’s license
- Previous supervisory experience would be an asset

Job Overview:
The Journeyperson Pipefitter/ Steamfitter Supervisor for Ambassador Mechanical has daily, weekly, monthly, and annual responsibilities. The individual in this position will be responsible to demonstrate accountability and integrity to achieve the required results and will be evaluated for their performance in these areas.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the company’s journeyperson and apprentice pipefitters/steamfitters
- Manage the ordering of materials of pipefitters/ steamfitters on projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Install supports, valves, piping, and controls
- Operate power lifts
- Test systems for leaks, remove and replace any worn components
- Follow all safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter/Steamfitter trade certification
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights
- Valid Driver’s license
- Previous supervisory experience
- Ability to pass Criminal record check & Federal checks
